Bishop's Stortford Netball Club

Thanks for visiting the Bishop’s Stortford Netball Club website!

We’re a competitive but friendly netball club based in Bishop’s Stortford and we’ve been around for quite a long time – since 1979 to be precise!

Bishop’s Stortford Netball Club, (or BSNC) is currently a senior women’s club, so we welcome players aged 18+.

We play in a number of leagues in Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow and Welwyn Garden City. Our highest team competes in the uber-competitive Hertfordshire County Netball League, but we also play in a number of other leagues of varying standards. Most of our players do join us as experienced netballers, as that’s primarily the make-up of the club, but we are a friendly and welcoming bunch in general.

We train on Thursday evenings at the brand new Herts & Essex Sports Centre in Bishop’s Stortford. We’re very lucky to have an indoor booking (gold dust in the local area!) and have a 90 minute slot to give us plenty of time for team development and game time.

Our Netball Values

We pride ourselves on being an open, diverse netball club with a range of netball opportunities open to all. We welcome everyone, irrespective of age and experience, to join us and enjoy a great game of netball.

When things get serious on the court, we’re competitive and love to win – of course! But off the court we’re a friendly group and we look after eachother.

Covid-19 & Netball

Six months without netball was never part of the plan!

As soon as it was possible to get back on court, we’ve been back up and running thanks to the hard and tireless work of our committee. They’ve ensured that everything is in place so that we can once again play the sport we love safely.
